A while back there was a thread about part timers. Somewhere in there it was mentioned that part timers who have been working full time hours for a length of time should be offered full time contracts.

Something alng the lines that if the operation in their DO had meant they were working full time hours for a length of time, then the operation obviously needed full timers and so they should be made up to full time.

I've tried looking for the thread but it like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Can anyone confirm that's the case and if possible provide a link to anything official about this.

We have a number of part timers in my DO that have been working full time hours for over 12 months now.
