Been going over and over the outcome of these latest talks..
i personally think the Govt has more than a lot to answer us as a union... :lfo and :cfo are the rottweilers put in by the govt to run down RM and
can be called off at a moments notice..the govt's public stance has been one of non intervention, but one can imagine what is going on behind the scenes
(phone calls private meetings, etc)
scenario 1 good - back room instruction from govt to lieton/crazier to rip up some/most of strings eg flexibility, ..pension attacks frozen, ..pay increase honoured..
scenario 2 bad - govt instruct them to hold firm on all the demands..dave and billy know they can't come back to us..official action continues - unofficial action spreads and RM try to starve us back..
it really all comes down to if the action offcial and now unoffcial is putting enough pressure not on RM alone but on Govt who are the f**kin shareholder
Are they now losing enough wonga to make any real concessions to this draconian list of demands..personally i'm allready out on unofficial and am waiting
on today with baited breath..i do however believe we should fight on and i will fight on the the very death..
