unoffical ia advice needed

in my office today because of the confusion with meal breaks and payments called for unoffical ia well it was me who made the shout for our troops to go to the canteen my boos heard and instructed me that this was unoofical ia and i carried on will i get s**t tommorrow because it was me who made the shout we went back after 40 mins and got nowhere same as the rest of this strike i think they are implementing all the changes anyway and at least 2/3 s of our office walked out on me they have no balls

well done mate for making a stand. i applaud you. get in contact with your area rep first thing and they should be able to smooth things over for ya. dont worry with all the s**t going on this wont be a big issue

Are you the rep? you need to be very careful about instigating unofficial action, basically it should be the members who walk to the canteen or an area where you can speak without management over-hearing you, then you can see what the feeling of the members is, and what action you feel is necessary. then you can inform management of what actions the members are going to take. it should not be an individual

ia m not the rep just a pain in their arse i only called for staff to the canteen those who went made their own choice as they did to leave or stay after about 15 mins while some of us had a balls to try and fix things out not that we did but i ll keep trying or beign a pain

work in the same office as sparky i was told today by the sector manager that we would lose 40 mins for the reason it was unofficial i.a. fed up watching dims walk all over us and treating us like s**t. was told the day that they are just enforcing things now and its as directed with everything.

10 out of 10 Sparky but you may well be in the s**t you need to be careful mate dont insite you can get proper shafted for it Ive heard of a few offices that are slowing the job down in other ways just to hit back for the use of implementation by means of executive action i hear the troops do the job to the letter sort at a reasonable pace if you get my drift and are unable to complete due to excessive workloads bags made no more than 16 kg meal releifs etc

Once it has been established that unofficial action has taken place they have got you by the balls
Like some units they keep it quiet but know the right plan to use as and when needed

Its a FACT that you'll only pull off U I/A if you got 100% support. Thats why in Liverpool, their winners. You wont get away with it in most other offices. Tred the line if you dare and i'd love to join ya, but sadly i dont work one of these offices so you might walk the line alone. Theres other ways to fight this fight, but the best route is to follow the CWU line.
BTW who chose Tuesday for my next fight day. DONT WORK TO RULE, instead follow the I'LL DO MY JOB PROPERLY CAMPAIGN......
