We all have done well so far and can I just make a little plea to all `Delivery Post people`( not their people, our people) Please do NOT WALK AND SORT! STOP! after every house before you get to the next letter box, and yes this will extend the delivery time, that's the point. Please don't come back to me and say but we want to finish and make time, we all have been out for 4 days because they want to take any saved hours back (among other things), everyone has to get used to the fact they want 8 hours work. Add this fact in when you tell your DoM unable to complete to day I am doing the job properly! You are covered, its H&S.

Why would anyone from now on in wish to make time? its counter productive, you will just be asked to do MORE!

I will back this up with a little missive. Its alleged that one person in our Office has received a Written Warning and its on his record re accident on duty that he contributed to this `episode` by sorting while walking ( up steps) and it has been termed as Contributory Negligence. (I have used the word alledged, but its fact.)

Also you could stop using your cars for deliveries, I know its easier and managers like you to do it, but tell them you want your bags delivering and they'll struggle to find someone to do it.

Crozier has finally had to crawl out of his hiding place to instigate a damage limitation exercise as the idiots at the top are slowing realising that the indefensible is just that. The media and public are slowing beginning to understand the strike is not just about money. A few more days of lost wages over the next 3 weeks with the rolling strikes should have :lfo :cfo backtracking at a furious pace in an attempt to save their reputation in the city. Stick at it lads and WE WILL WIN and those two to**ers will be washed up has beens.

If the manager thinks the postie was walking and sorting, ie not looking where he was going, it is recorded as Contributory Negligence and therefore is his or her fault. It is argued that although it was an accident at work ITS YOU FAULT and can be taken to a stage if there was time off work Be careful Do The Job Properly :pray :pray
