vicious rumour from gmc this morning that
cwu agreeing to 5 yr t&c
pay rise as before
but NOT backdated
no 300 payment
no extra ot rates
anyone confirm

You not heard correctly mate...

word is from gmc this morning that
cwu agreeing to 15 yr t&c
double the pay rise from before
ALL backdated, including o/t rates
300 payment every month for ever
time and half on ot rates
anyone confirm

apparently the sticking point is that the London area won't let Royal Mail phase in Iron Pyrite for the pavements

Wrongest thread ever! (Is Wrongest even a word? :crazy: )

Royal Mail know full well that a lump sum will tempt people to accept an agreement, that's why there is one in every deal. Removing £600 out of people's pockets just before Christmas isn't ever going to get a yes vote.

Why I bothered actually replying I don't know.
