my partner takes grand mal seizures now for the last 3 yrs ,to date i have alwys used my own annual leave , she had a seizure yesterday and i had to look after her and kids , does this come under paid special leave, thanx

If the epilepsy is covered by the Equality Act, then as the carer you should be too.
I'd say you should be entitled to paid leave and I'd get your Branch Equality Officer on the case.
