cut offs

hi wonder if you can help me i cut off and my dom said it will be there for you tomorrow i thought this would be wilfiul delay on his part

i was thinking if i emailed the dsm and let him know would i get in the s**t for informing him

email moya saying that you dont think he has reported it and is keeping it a secret, i think you will get a better response doing that!

as for wilful delay, as long as he has taken reasonable steps to try and get it delivered, ie offered over time or tried to get someone to complete it at the end of their duty if they still had time, he has done his bit and it would not be considered wilful delay on his part, it would be reordered as a failure on the DODR report and thats him covered for wilful delay, but if he hasnt done all these steps he could be in trouble.

Again as we have said on another thread, just call his bluff, if its left for you for tomorrow, then your going to have lots more to cut off with tomorrow

Well, just inform them that it is only going to result in more being cut off on Friday.

They are merely trying to bully you into completing. Don't let them.

nah as soon as i bought it back he said it will still be there for you tomorrow and im going to performance manage you

nah as soon as i bought it back he said it will still be there for you tomorrow and im going to performance manage you

if you go in tomorrow and its still tied up exactly as you left it, then i would go over his head and email moya straight away, he needs to count the mail you left, so if its still bundled he hasnt done that, you will struggle to get him in trouble for wilful delay, but getting him for not reporting a failure is far easier

thats incorrect, it can both be delivered at the same time

If a cut off has been left undelivered then we have failed USO for that part of the walk. There would be no point delivering it seperately the next day as this would mean covering the ground twice which is pointless.

uso has already been failed, giving someone two deliveries in the one day does not fix it, you simply sort it back into the frame and deliver it with the next days mail

not quite that simple, however

if you dom asked you to flex by half an hour earlier this week and you agreed, and said you want the half an hour taken off saturday(it has to be given back the same week) and he agreed then you could finish half an hour early
