How long does it take to join the union ?

I signed up via email at the end of August, I received a reply on the 2nd of September stating that my application was being processed. The union fees have been deducted from my wages for the past 2 weeks.................... but apart from that I've heard or received absolutely nothing.

I had the same prob. HQ send off new memberships in a lump. Personally I think they should pull their finger out and not rub new members up the wrong way from the start.

Nothing to stop you doing so. The CWU is the recognised union.

You're not wrong............... quick to grab my money, but slow to act is not the greatest of starts.
