.Labour will say they cant make any promises because they dont know what the books would look like by the next general election and they couldnt justify spending money the country doesnt have on buying Royal mail back.blah blah blah

..but if they had the will they could find a way to use the current levels of profit to buy back over 10 years and with tougher regulation the peanuts we receive for DSA could be greatly increased- that wouldnt be spending money the country doesnt have but taking back the profits we lose to shareholders and also maintaining a relatively cheap service that many small business need to survive.A majority stake buy back is the least they could promise and the original EU directive could be revisited in Brussels etc.They dont even have to promise it but say they will look at if re-elected,anything to put doubt in investors minds would be beneficial.

It's the same with everything the ConDems are bringing in, like the Bedroom Tax and other 'Austerity' cuts. Labour condemns them but say they won't reverse them if they are re-elected. Makes me wonder what is the point in them.
