Well thats the second one over with But my main gripe is that out of our office of fifty, it,s always the same twenty who bother to get up early and go on picket Where our the rest of them? Whose to know you havn,t scabbed of to another office wearing civvies and pretending to be a manager? Remember it,s a strike not a days holiday!!!! Show solidarity and turn up at the picket At least we will know you not working somewhere else?

our picket line was well attended with some new faces and some of the same faces i personally would stand there all day which i did but i rather the guys stay away then be tempted back to work if they want to use it as a day off then so be it would rather they came down and supported us all but they didnt but they also didnt cross and thats the main thing i believe

Perhaps the other 30 don't agree with the strike, but won't go to work for fear of reprisals?

thankfully we've only got 1 scab so that's something..however in an office of 30 only half a dozen picket..the rest merely treat it as a day off..shamefully i havn't as yet because i live 25 miles from the office,i will be there for the next one though..Promise..

To be honest a few might think they can't go in through fear of reprisals but i think it's only a few.
There is too many selfish people around that want put their self out for anything
All we ask is a pissin hour of their time to support the cause but no it's excuses all the time.
One bloke sadi to me ' i can't turn up if you can sort out child care for me i would',
I thought hang on your misses don't work at 4.30 -5.30

One of my lads looks after the kids on a friday as its his day off and his missus works but he still came down for at leasta hour to stand on the picket line, a member who was on annual leave even came down!

Now all i need to do is persuade them to do a rota and get volunteers for the later shifts to get us up to lunch time. 7am most of them had gone home!

everyone should experience a picket line in there life time, i dont want to experience going over one
