Post by Loony »

You only have to talk with them if it is a work related issue, not general discussion.

cornish chough here , i work in the callers office and was told that i had to do a part walk today and also collections . strange that i havn t had to do them for 10 years , and was told to do them by the same manager who has always told me he wouldn t send me out as my work gets to far behind. now call me a cynic , but would this have anything to with me being on the line on friday with my fellow non strike breakers ?

Nope, they're trying to do it in other areas. But some of those duties are specialist duties. It seems to be when needs must, but no common sense applied.

Don't worry they'll protect the "people who went into work" for as long as they feel like it. Then they'll let them go I imagine, as they won't have much representation from the union!

Totally agree with Bloke7, They will look after the people that came in like they did when our deputy or what ever he is told us that we should'nt give our 'colleagues?' the cold shoulder, but when they don't speak to us its a different matter! How many posties like Cornish chough have had extra work put on them since Friday?
