WELL DONE LADS ON THE PICKETS

Post by South East Postie »

i kno this is a silly new topic, but i just had to congratulate you all. today we have stood up to be counted. im just glad my office isnt a reflection of nationwide, with many strike breakers. i dont know any of you that well but you all have my respect and thanks. makes me proud to see the pics that are now filtering through. this could last for a while, stay strong, and we can WIN WIN.

Got to the picket at 04.30, slightly delayed due to it absolutely hammering it down around our way. Stayed there till 11.10. Sopping wet feet, but who cares, not me, I did my bit, and will do it agin if I have to. Good turnout on the line at the office, Sale DO. M33(Manchester) Cheers lads! Nobody crossed the line, don't know wether anybody went elsewhere, but hope they didn't, we're all in this together ya know!

Yeah Heapsy was a hero today. Rumour has it that he actually started leaving at 5:45 but is so slow that he only left the picket area at 11:10.

Only Joking Von Heaps!! Fantastic effort from you today!

are you referring to "oi mate we're shut" Heapsy the worlds finest exponent of cordial and courteous greetings and salutations - whose stock phrase is "f**k off if you don't like it mate ?
