Strike breakers to be thrown out of Union.

Post by POSTMAN »

Rep had his war meeting yesterday.
Was told that HQ will kick out any union members crossing a picket line.

Also no uniform to be worn except coats/jackets.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Great news. I would willingly pay double the union dues if they kicked this scum out.
I hope Amicus are going to do the same for those glorified office boys of the CMA, the scabby gets.

hope this is true, and its about time hq took a stand against strike breakers, after all why be in a union if your not prepared to go with the majorty of the members esp when the stakes are as high as this, not only on job losses, but your basic rights for a fair working wage and working condishions. wonder why no uniform just coats or jackets  dont understand that one. PS have a good one boys & girls hope it stayes dry over there ONWARDS AND UPWARDS :nana

I've also heard about them being thrown out, but we've been told nothing about uniform (or not)

I'm assuming that means high vis vests are ok, after all we just wouldn't be safe without them would we

The way i see it, if there in uniform, the the public can see that we still take pride in jobs. If we not in uniform then it looks like we don't give a damn.

Couldn't agree more billypants - but not us we need to convince. We need to show Joe Public and keep them on our side

If you've not been told then you don't know do you. . . . . . just wear whatever you choose but having something to readily identify you as a postie ( high vis vest, stormcoat ) must be good for a show of strength .

Like it! but are we sure that it is legal as all I have read says "their choice" but my argument is if you belong to a club you abide by club rules or get kicked out (or leave)! Wish we could make them negotiate their own increases etc.
