For 'obvious' and 'just in case' reasons we can't have pics or videos of 'strike breakers' on the site of any kind.
That includes CWU members, non CWU members,Managers and so on.
But there is no problem with having pics of the picket line and people who are involved with the strike. (Ask their permission)
I will be taking my camera and hope to post a few pics up.
We will start a pic/video thread up on Thursday night.
PLEASE NOTE:
Any pics/videos you post up we will assume that you have the permission of everybody who is in it.
Any pic/videos that accidently show strike breakers ect in it will be deleted.
And you can send the pics/videos to me if you want to be anonymous and i'll post them up for you.
Thanks guys.

IMPORTANT:STRIKE DAY PICS/VIDEOS

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If we're not allowed to film or take pictures of strike breakers, then surely managers should not be allowed to do likewise to strikers? I did mention in another forum, I'd heard that managers would be going around offices and filming us on picket lines. So I shall be taking my camera just in case. Managers.... be warned!

a screw in our office once took a pic of 1 of our posties coz he was off route and they wanted to prove it. He mentioned this to a solicitor on his round who told him that it's illegal to take a picture of someone without their permision if they are undertaking lawful activity, the screw had to delete the pic whilst the postie watched
.
So if this is the case then we are taking lawful strike action and nobody should be taking our pics without our permision, including the screws. Perhaps someone with legal contacts can verify this ?
