It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

With our rep off this week, I've seen and nothing of this, what are the union doing right now to increase the profile of our cause, because I've seen nothing in the news etc.

My rep's on his holls this week too, and like you have heard nothing. But there is a rumour going round that one of them is 'sposed to be paying a visit this week, hopefully before friday. My office doen't have a rep, so we have to rely on the area one and I can tell you it's easier getting hold of Rocking Horse Sh*t than getting hold of him! I live in hope though.
