Re: Maternity Leave question
Ah so women are not entitled to their legal right to give up work to look after children even if before they have indicated they wish to return to work. I hope now you give up your legal right to paid annual leave, after all people have to cover you while your watching "Judge Judy".lover wrote:think of your work mate who will have to cover you, while your on maternity leave having no intention of going back.let them get a new collegue now.it not just the company that pays,it the rest of us![]()

Re: Split from Maternity Leave question
come off it.the point of maternity leave is exactly that.leave of absence while you have the baby.you are expected to return.thats the deal.if like this PERSON you have no intension of returning then have some honour and respect for your workmates and yourself and fook off..i really must be on another planet to you people if you cant grasp the simple fact that you should actually earn your money .
:arrrghhhshe has even said she would do the bare minimum to keep the free money.
ive seen it countless times in a very small buisness i used to work in.a company that certainly couldnt afford it,which went to the wall in no small part to these creature bleeding them dry .they get a job and then anounce their pregnant just after theyve been their the qualifing period get paid and never return.
they make me sick, and you think thats ok..sums you guys up really.
those of us with morals though will just think its disgusting

As to the moral question - You thinks its OK to look after Number 1 unless your the number 1 affected by another persons choice. I think she makes the right choice - her family first. If she left before the deadline to pay the money back thats money that would have gone to her family.

Re: Split from Maternity Leave question
How is any woman to know that after having a baby she doesn't want to go back to work? If this person decided after the end of her maternity leave that she didn't want to return to work then that is up to her.

who said im looking after number 1.thats what shes doing at the expense of her work mates.
thats selfish,if she was considerate she would have thought that herself.
my advise was clear.resign now and you wont owe them anything.its all about how much money you can get ,for you socialists,strange...
its doesnt affect me directly what she does but im THINKING OF HER WORKMATES WHO AS WE ALL KNOW WILL BE FORCED TO LAPSE HER DUTIES because dim dom expect her to be back within 6 months.she could save them all the hassel and be......HONEST

It's nice to see you back to your usual baiting (and bad grammar), keep this up and you'll be away againlover wrote:disgruntledpostie1 wrote:How is any woman to know that after having a baby she doesn't want to go back to work? What expense they don't pay her wageslover wrote:who said I'm looking after number 1.that's what she's doing at the expense of her work mates.
Selfish if you discount that to some family is the most important consideration.lover wrote:that's selfish,if she was considerate she would have thought that herself.
If the minimum qualifying period to not pay money back, that she qualifies for, was 0 or 1 week then she would give that notice. Is it only OK for Businesses and Government to play the rules and no one else.lover wrote:my advise was clear.resign now and you wont owe them anything.its all about how much money you can get ,for you socialists,strange...
They are not lapsing because she is pregnant, if they are lapsing its because the DOM blames her then he is being disingenuous. Lapsing for absence is only for short term absences normally the 1st day of absence and no longer. Lapsing beyond that is being quoted as flexibility and "Working all hours" nothing to do with a pregnancy.lover wrote:its doesn't affect me directly what she does but im THINKING OF HER WORKMATES WHO AS WE ALL KNOW WILL BE FORCED TO LAPSE HER DUTIES because dim dom expect her to be back within 6 months.she could save them all the hassle and be......HONEST

No one else would suffer as you are expected to do your hours anyway. Overtime is not something you have to do.She would be a fool if she didn't take any money she is ENTITLED to.
