can my gaffer make me wear non white trainers i have no RM shoes

Apparently they can - they were enforcing this rule in my DO last year at threatened people with the conduct code if they did not comply. Although a Union guy will probably rely shortly.

Chances are he will order a pair of shoes for you,then tell you to wear them.
Most offices get away with trainers(dark coloured),some can be funny.
Wearing white will get you noticed,dark trainers you'll probably get away from it.

I have been wearing white trainers for about a year now,also wear blue Longsdale sport shorts. they dont care in our place.

why would anyone want to wear white trainers when we get given some fantastic footwear, i've seen some posties around who look like they've just stepped out of a club!
