What did you say John? Just about anything can be said to be 'incitement' if it suits them. Of course telling us were underworked and overpaid is incitement and when we're out on strike I doubt Crozier will think he had anything to do with it even though we all know he did.

DID HE SAY THIS TO YOU INFRONT OF A WITNESS. THREATENING YOU WITH THE SACK VERBALLY IS BULLYING. SPEAK TO YOUR LOCAL OR AREA REP ABOUT THIS ISSUE. I WOULD FILL IN THE B & H FORM TOMORROW. Write a letter to him asking him to pass the following request onto Royal Mail's Data Protection Compliance Manager (and send it Recorded Delivery!);

" I am formally submitting a Subject Access Request under the Data Protection Act and require Royal Mail to provide me with all information held on me within 40 days".

They can charge a fee - Â£10 - but must provide you with all info held on you with the exception of any legal advice. if they fail to provide you with info they later use against you, or fail to provide you with info held on you:

any disciplinary penalty will be seen to be unfair as they will have witheld evidence, something that is contra the principle of 'natural justice' i.e. a person must be told what he/she is being accused of;

you can lodge a formal complaint with the Information Commisioners office and RM can be fined.

This is another example of the Fear & Bullying tactic used by Management.

This Manager should be working for the Russian Goverment as a KGB Agent.

That doesn't offend us in any way. We're all socialists, syndicalists and anarchists. That whole Bolshevik sell out and the tyranny perpetuated on the Russian working class by them has nothing in common with the IWW or anyone in Solidatity Federation, the Anarchist Federation or Class War Federation who also have members working for Royal Mail.

Yes this is something i have looked into.. As the Data Protection act is there for all of us.. NOT JUST RM!!!

I took a letter sent to me by John Colbert (campaign manager, CwU) about the strike and the RM viewpoint into the office to show a colleague, it was taken off of him by the DOM and I was called into the office and told i was not allowed to post the notice up. Well, I hadn't put up the notice, only showed the letter to my friend. I was told i was inciting things and threatened with further action if I did. The letter was not returned to me. Paranoia is rampant in the manager's camp!! What a load of *%$**!

this doesnt surprise me at all

on the mdec i have heard if you stick up for someone or enquire about them you can be threatened with the conduct code, or worse bullying and harrassment procedures so i now just go into work and get on with job and i try not to engage in a conversation with people that arent on my pod

its the way to survive on the mdec
