Special leave.

Having lost my mother over the week end i was wondering what special leave i'm entitled to. I am on leave this week and due to return to work on Monday 1st of June, the funeral is been held late the following day. Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated.

Usually up to seven days--Sorry to hear obout your mum.

If you are the person responsible for funeral arrangements etc, you are entitled to 6 days paid special leave.

Thanks for your kind sentiments and help i now know where i stand. My line manager is not the most sympathetic person around so knowing what i'm entitled to before contacting him is a great load off my mind.
