local agreements

need advice asap
re local office agreements
ie del spans
just learned mgmt (dom ) and local cwu rep and area rep signed apparently 4.15 hr del span agreement
cwu reps claim they only gave mgmt permission to LOOK at changes but have signed document with mgmt
personally i smell rat
what can we do about this managers waving bit of paper in our faces saying its a done deal and changes will take place etc
union rep not very convincing with excuses
point is can union reps sign off documents and agreements without office memberships knowledge , approval , we never gave instruction for this to happen or never voted on this issue where do we stand on this
very perplexed as only 2-3 wks ago 100% vote on rule 13 application for industrial action passed at union meet re office changes and savings being implmtd by ea.
help please do we kick rep out !!!

No indivudual rep can agree a revison without first and formost putting that revison to the members. Remember reps are not indivudals acting on their own they are there as your collective voice and you have the right to vote on any so called agreement. If your rep has stepped our of line get the branch or the regional secretary or divisonal rep involved.
