Just because most people believe something, it doesn't mean that they're right.
It could simply be that all the fools are on the same side.
If your own view isn't the popular one, but it's the one that you wholeheartedly feel is right, then stick to it - and don't be swayed by what anyone else might say.

As a senior local offical but never been afraid to speak out against the "norm" .i support you we need debate just because you dont win the vote does not you mean you are wrong i have over the years put ideas forward postions which have not won but will contiue to do so, without debate we are nothing
