Health and Safety assessments

Post by hans solo »

DM26
Have any health assessments been done and investigated regarding new delivery methods
Are there guidelines or outcomes available
Time out on delivery
Length of delivery spans
Impact of increased unworkable workloads
Mental health impacts
Muscoskeletal impacts on body
Methods of delivery ie trolly use with new methods
Meal breaks in middle of day and not at end of duty

Its all very well cwu agreeing to these new methods
But has any insight been done and assessed
Or is it just a case of get on with it we dont care about our people

I have not heard or seen 1 statement or ltb from our national health and safety officer regarding these changes and work methods

Health, safety and welfare is a function of the industrial departments after Joyce was finally shut down. When Joyce went so did his cushy number and his empire. Nothings changed with the risk assessments and they all remain in place. If you want to use a lightweight use one.

The agreement regarding breaks does say that they cannot be at the end of the duty. This has been varied by local agreements.
