Looking for some help, whilst out on delivery i initially felt a slight pull in my forearm whilst going into the back of the van to get some mail and a parcel - i didn't think anything of it at first; but as my shift went on i felt the pain in my arm worsening to the extent i was struggling to lift and bear weight on my right arm, but struggled on to finish my shift. (No point in contacting my depot for assistance, as it severly under staffed with very little flexability for any help !)
I went to my GP after i finished - advised to call 111 to get an apointment with minor injuries - was told rest, prescribed pain killers and have an arm support to help - i have a bad sprain/potential tendonitis in my arm, been referred onto physiotherapy for treatment.
I contacted my manager to let him know my situation after i had been to my GP, as i knew if i had done when it initially happened i would be told to try my best and do what i can. (Due to reasons mentiond above)
I have now let my manager know i will be off for next few days to help rest and alleviate the pain and hopefuly feel some difference, was advised due to having one day off already in January this will go against me and went through the standard procedure for accident at work, which is fair enough.
Where do i stand with this is?, Will this be an issue with my probation?
Any help would be apreciated.

Re: Union advice needed after accident at work - still on probation
Accidents on duty are normally discounted fron any sanctions though will still trigger the attendance procedure as a statement of fact.
This is important
Did you fill out the electronic accident reporting procedure with your manager?
It is called an ERICA
