Any Good News From a Pilot Office?

Post by Barnacle »

Is anyone working in a pilot office having a positive experience?

Is it all working amazingly well?

Reason: No linked article so did not qualify as a news Item per the board rules, moved into Union room.

Not much good news, well not any. They all failed miserably. However the stance from the union ex says we have to make it work. We know you can't do it but just do it. This is what we negotiated for you. Just do it

Who actually cares if it’s working ? Nothing has worked in my office since the dispute, failing duties every day . I’ve got no problem taking a pay rise and better shift patterns and still fail work , that’s Royal Mails problem not the union.

I know that 9 offices are out of the pilot because they are in dispute. Not sure which offices they are or what the basis of the disputes are?

I would hazard an extremely vague guess that the disputes are something to do with the promise of less fatigue on delivery... :cuppa

In the real world of UK employment people get a payrise every year, either in line with, or above inflation. :arrrghhh

Unless your job has been reduced to some minimum wage, daily replaceable necessity that can't quite be replaced by a machine yet.

I worked in a job that only got a 1% payrise and it wasn't a gig job if its a private company with no union especially then they'll try to get away with the least they can do they legally have to give you anything at all ?

It's possible to receive a pay freeze, therefore by definition Ski, people do not always get pay rises every year.

I hope that helps you my friend.
