Can you go away on Holiday while suspended

Not me. Friend of mine in another office is currently suspended from his office (been about about 4 weeks) and had his fact finding but waiting for a next stage (interview). week after next hes off for 2 weeks and wants to go abroad, is he allowed to go?

If the leave was booked before this happened - they can’t stop you/them

That seems a long time to be suspended, I hope the union are on this because suspension should not be longer than necessary and should be reviewed every 48 hrs. What has he done wrong to merit this treatment?
