Postie 1 joins Royal Mail in July 2007
Postie 2 starts 2 months later in September 2007
Postie 1 has a continuous year (say 2010) out due to drink/drugs issue and returns successfully to carry on without subsequent break in service
I’m not sure if the break was recorded as sickness or a career break
During an office re-sign should postie 1 retain seniority?
Thanks for any advice

Re: Office re-sign query
If it's a career break then I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the way forward agreement that seniority should be adjusted accordingly although I bet it wasn't, if sick then of course it won't be.

Re: Office re-sign query
In the FAQ on career breaks in the app it says career breaks count towards seniority. Thats my interpretation

Here's both, I'd assume the people app answer supersedes what I thought the answer was according to the way forward as that was back in 2000
