Chris Webb
Hello all,
Is it just me that thinks Mr Webb has been a total amateur in his role as head of communications? especially after his ridiculous performance in the background of the select committee meeting.

Re: Chris Webb
Totally agree, the guy is a pathetic amateur. It shows you the quality, or lack of it at the head of the CWU ie including Ward and Fury. They have all been useless and have sold us all out to protect themselves, and the CWU. Absolutely shameful behaviour from people who will take zero responsibility for this mess! Royal Mail management were up against no opposition with these idiots, hence, our crap deal!CLINTEASTWOOD wrote: ↑01 May 2023, 21:59Hello all,

Re: Chris Webb
Think alot of us feel the same . we've gave RM far to much respect especially after our 95% yes vote when we should of called a strike immediately.giving a cooling off period for these greedy lieing so and SO's.everthing is always there way we couldn't even strike sometimes cause of union mess up with certain details.Time for a change of personal in every area not just the board.

Re: Chris Webb
Chris Webb is an amateur, and it shows.
He only got given the position with media and coms as he was Dave Ward campaign manager when standing for General Secretary. The position never advertised. Cronyism at its worst.
At least with Kevin Slocombe, a real professional

Re: Chris Webb
The guy pronounces specific as “pacific” and some of the responses on the union Facebook page read like they were written by a 7 year old having a tantrum. Yet another person out their depth in this union.

Re: Chris Webb
He comes across as a guy that is very anti-establishment and loves the fight with Royal Mail a little too much.
Just needs to calm himself a bit.

There are people in Bristol that may disagree with that last remarkredlen wrote: ↑04 May 2023, 13:07Chris Webb is an amateur, and it shows.

Re: Chris Webb
That might well be your own opinion, but his actions during this dispute gave his true character and lack of professionalism and juvenile behaviour with Media and Coms compared with Royal Mail.
Personally I had no complaints with Kevin Slocombe, both personally and professional

Re: Chris Webb
The guy actually posted a picture meme of a whiteboard saying "Whiteboard for sale" in response to Thompson leaving on the official CWU page on Facebook. Safe to say, the response wasn't well received and has taken the post down this morning. Saying it's unprofessional doesn't even come close. It's real kindergarten behaviour and shows union how completely out of touch they are in how members are feeling at the minute, especially with this deal. Every post makes the union and to an extend us look more pathetic. Find it fascinating that this is probably the most they've posted since the agreement have been made in one period.
