being sick during strike days

im currently off sick with ligament damage and will most likely be off during the upcoming strike days.will i get paid for these days ? will a doctors note be sufficient

They cannot withhold your pay as you have doctors note excusing duties rather than a self certification absence. Even with self certification cannot see how they can withhold contracted salary when sick and industrial action. Think that is more Chinese whispers than reality spun by management, the same as the Christmas Bonus and sick we hear every year.
