Hi i have been off on long term sick and went on to half pay at the start of the month. I got a letter today informing that my sick pay will stop on the 30th of the month. Do you normally get so little notice to enable you no time to do anything or is this wrong? cheers in advance

I'm a bit confused. If you went on to half pay at the start of the month, you should still be entitled to another 5 months of half pay.
The only thing I can think of is your manager thinks you are swinging the lead and has decided to stop your pay, so hence the quickness of the stopping of pay?
Have you kept in touch with your manager and supplied a recent sicknote etc?

Hi I was on long term sick and half pay finished 2 weeks before I expected it to HR informed me you get 6 months full pay and 6 months half pay in a 4 year period .as I had a couple of weeks off inside the 4 years period when I went sick they counted so sick pay ended .
