Optima health?

Post by TheStrangler »

Been off sick for a while and got a text from Optima Health.
It doesn't even include their number so assuming they'll ring me?
Are these occupational health under a different name?
Do they file reports that are sent to your manager (as well as obviously giving you a copy of the report) the same as the old OHS used to?
I've not been told about this by my manager or union.
Because of this I'm not even sure if it's genuine or a scam!
Only other thing I can think of is that my doctor may have arranged it but again I've not been told if that's the case.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes these are now the chosen `occupational health experts` :left: that Royal Mail use. Same turd, different shape.
Your manager is `supposed` to ask your permission to refer you to any occupational health but we all know they don't bother with anything that is in the attendance procedure.
Yes they will send you a report and it's your right to see it.
Most doctors I have come across or had statements off for work based tribunals have a very poor opinion of them.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.
