Weekly rota

So the rota for the following week in our office is constantly going up on the Friday just before it. So you
Can’t plan for anything. Obviously it only affects part timers. So the full timers aren’t arsed.

How is it working in other offices?

Always went up on fri where I worked. You could always ask the staffing before hand what you are doing. But the odds are they won’t know themselves because of last minute changes

It doesn't obviously affect only part timers where I work.

We have a number of full time reserves in my unit, (don't everyone?) so they are certainly arsed when our rota doesn't go up until Friday. The vast majority of part timers in my unit have fixed duties and therefore days off, so perhaps they aren't aren't arsed in exactly the same way as full timers on scheduled days off aren't arsed.

I suppose it depends, as so much does in RM, on how different DOMs appear to have different interpretions of how best to run their own offices.

Why does it only affect part timers surely there are full time reserves

We get to know what our rest day for the following week is on the Saturday, but we dont what duty until the day we are on it.
