Block of flats

Hello I looking for advice re a block of flats on my round
I been told by caretakers not to enter re pandemic
The letter boxes are outside so that ok re letters but packets are a nightmare I need to enter block to deliver them
But as already stated I've been told not to by caretakers
All but one of occupants will come to main door to collect packets
Except one who is a nightmare so far over 20 complaints lol
She will not come to main door she wants me to go to her flat door
Managers say they spoken to owner of block of flats and I'm allowed in but I still getting told off by caretakers
Any solutions please

As politely as you like tell the caretakers to jog on. The delivery point to the flats is the letter boxes, so Lady Muck can do one too. The choice is yours.

As you wrote I always thought the letterbox is the delivery point bit it seems not anymore I am trying to find some sort of document saying that the letterbox is delivery point but no luck so far
Had another 2 complaints from the same women so I am going to state I no longer willing to deliver to her and make manager make a decision

I would card the lot of them, then let the tenants sort out the caretakers, make it a problem for them not you.

I do that with two apartment blocks I deliver to. I don't bother going any further than the mailboxes of each of the two blocks. Just fill out a P739 and pop them in the letterboxes.

Hello all a quick update.
To my suprise the managers have backed me on this and have sent the lady a letter stating that due to pandemic the postman WILLNOT be entering the block and if she doesn't come to the main door to collect her packets they will be carded and taken back to office

Three cheers to your managers! That's something we posties don't experience everyday - the support we need from those in charge.

It's the right thing, too. Does that lady think she should receive V.I.P. treatment?
