How stupid and short sighted of them. Whilst I agree to doing the job properly and fully support the idea of a campaign, WHY the hell did they choose a Friday?
Workers throughout all industries typically try to finish early on a Friday, this campaign should have been done so as to try and maximise the numbers taking part, and that not going to happen, not with long weekends, annual leave and the likes normally beginning after a Friday. A Wednesday or a Thursday would have probably gained a bit more support.

Personally, I usually start a few minutes early, rather than just stand around till the last minute. But 3 hours?!?!? that's just insane!!!!!Fluke wrote:How stupid and short sighted of them. Still, I imagine that over a whole year, it probably does add up to a significant amount of extra work that they get out of me.

It's interesting that we have to promote a "special day" to save our jobs!
You might as well bang your head on a brick wall.
We are talking about:
Fully grown adults who should know better.
Fully grown adults who should normally think about their future.
Expect their unpaid rep to halt and keep walks as they are and fight their corner whilst they come in early, use their cars,
no meal relief.
What have they actually got to do from 11.30?
Second job? What a stupid decision to make after SDD.
As stated,"fully grown adults".
Extra property since SDD? Stupid decision again. Nice car since SDD? Stupid decision again!
If there was an award for "bad bets" than it has to be for members who have overstreched themselves financially since SDD's conception.
Single delivery was not "once over",and was never meant to be.
Long look in the mirror methinks........
