Still waiting for the Union's response on the major developments of yesterday ,but i suppose they don't know whats going on because Royal Mail don't recognise them anymore,might as well scrap your membership because these guys don't give a monkies about you.

Royal Mail are running rings around the CWU,the union always seem to be chasing the tail. Been like that for ages,need somehow to get back on track & show Back what he’s dealing with

Surely the only approach now is to call strike and win over public support?

The key is clearly getting across the message that RM are using the pandemic to put through their race to the bottom by stealth..

How you do that with the masses not having any idea on the inner workings of RM however..

Just the fact that many members of the public think it’s ‘good’ for the posties to not have to deliver letters on a Saturday says it all.

Sorry to double post but I’ve seen the unions position is to carry on as normal and ignore all proposed duty changes under this attack on the USO.

Anyone else seen that? At this point my source isn’t exactly official.

Brilliant. It’s exactly what we should do. If we go along with it when there has been no attempt whatsoever to work together then we’ll end up like those folks in the GLS doc on YouTube.

Many members of staff will think it's good, let alone the public. They're clever with how they do things, no question. The union of also naive beyond belief at times, them suggesting a three day working week earlier in the covid emergency set the groundwork for this. It'll be turned upon the union too, the company will present the change as basically what they asked for.

A strike would be deemed illegal by the courts and unlikely to have public support remember they want their online order yesterday.as stated the union asked for a reduction in days so RM have obliged,game over

With the coronavirus I don't think they'd be the public support for a strike by any union, no matter who the dispute is with or what a dispute is about
