Management Manipulating Failure Figures.

I heard a conversation between our area managers understudy and our DOM about the amount of walks we are failing. The area manager* wasn't happy that our office ONLY part failed 9 walks and it needs to be more or we'll stand out like a sore thumb.
This is so wrong on many levels. I do not know what to do about this. The office rep has been informed of what was said.

Where there continue to be issues in relation to USO and Workplan failures across Delivery Offices it is important that the correct and jointly agreed processes are followed, the department would also request that we be informed of such instances to ensure these can continue to be raised with Royal Mail at the highest level.

Additionally where management locally refuses to adhere to the nationally agreed process, Branches are advised to progress this urgently through the IR framework, also using the flashpoint procedure if necessary.

Yeah as you say it's just wrong,are they saying your office isn't s**t enough and should be dragged down to the same as your neighbouring offices, is it a conspiracy theory going to show the uso needs to be amended due to us being unable to provide it and your office is holding that back by proving that we can ?

Nothing new there then, RM have probably been f#€£ing with figures of all sorts for years.

Definately, if we can deliver it1s not going to help Rico`s plan to create the 3 parcel super hubs and to collapse 1 in 6 duties...
