Any ideas
Our office has 33 duties and 36 f/t staff manager wants to reduce that to 25 duties so25, 5 floaters, 1 b/s, 2phgs,2parcel duties and 6 reserves to cover annual leave so manager said that will be 5 p/timers getting made up to f/time so that makes 41 f/time now staff currently running at 51 so some e.v.rs are getting offered maybe a surplus as well but the catch is all full time duties would take on extra delivery now im not against p/timers and would do the extra delivery for them to get full time but can any body looking at the above see any scope to get more days off or a wee carrot for full timers as they should benifit as well without exspanding the delivery to much appreciate any thoughts.

.These are the benifits we should be aiming for
more time away from the job,yes you may have to work a bit harder but with the extra pay and more time off it would make it worth it
Also at the same time if you wish you could improve your earnings as well working your Rest days.

It doesn't work if you're a leave reserve because you'd end up getting screwed, like always.abraham wrote:How does th 9 day fortnight work please?johnnypick wrote:What are your attendance patterns?Do you do a 5 day week?if yes why dont you look at a 9 day fortnightrural 3 wrote:Our office has 33 duties and 36 f/t staff manager wants to reduce that to 25 duties so25, 5 floaters, 1 b/s, 2phgs,2parcel duties and 6 reserves to cover annual leave so manager said that will be 5 p/timers getting made up to f/time so that makes 41 f/time now staff currently running at 51 so some e.v.rs are getting offered maybe a surplus as well but the catch is all full time duties would take on extra delivery now im not against p/timers and would do the extra delivery for them to get full time but can any body looking at the above see any scope to get more days off or a wee carrot for full timers as they should benifit as well without exspanding the delivery to much appreciate any thoughts.or a 4 day week
