Do any other offices experience this...?
When an audit is due in our office,the DOM runs around like a B/A fly to make the office clear.This can mean getting up to 3 people per sorting frame so everythings clear.First and second class is hidden under Mailsort 3,mail is hidden in locked rooms,and drivers have even been instructed to "drive round for a bit" with a van full of mail so the office appears clearer and more efficient than it usually is.This also occurs when the Area gaffer is due.All that so the DUM can get a pat on the back...

not just royal mail, used to happen in the factory i worked. they had to announce that they were coming so of course everything was clean and tidy.

all the time ,but not just audits
fire checks also
health and saftey(not that our hso is any good anyways)

Happens in our office everytime only we didput a spanner in the works this time we took all our walk logs out of thier folders as this is part of the inspection and we left deads on frames as well along with loads of other little bits, oh we failed got a list of recomendations /action plans coming out of our ears.
