Hi,
I am currently looking to cut my hours from 38 to 24,which was all on course until someone decided they now want to go down from 31 to 24.
I am looking to do this on health grounds ,I come under DDA act, the other person is longer serving but who would take priority,I've been told I would, is this correct.
Also, if I went to manager and said I want to do job share, 3 days with someone else, would this mean I would then automatically get duty, then other half have to go on board for others to put in for it.
Thanks

As far as I know the Disabilities Act takes priority over anything else!

Certainly would be dda. Do jobshare jobs have to be advertised or the 2 sharing automatically go into the post.
I've asked to do none have 3 days so do I automatically take that part and the other 3 days get advertised..
