Hi
I was just looking for some help if possible please, I’ve been off work long term after surgery and it now looks like I will require further surgery next year. OH have classed me as disabled under the equality act and that ill health with lump sum should be offered but now my boss has said Royal Mail can no longer offer this as a business.
Does anyone know where I stand in this position I work in a delivery office not a mail centre so they’re saying there’s not enough indoor work for me or I may have to lower my contract down from full time.
Any feedback would be great the union are aware but nothing is happening and I’ve been in limbo for months.
Many thanks

Get in touch with the Equality Rep at your Branch HQ, they are specifically trained and have experience in dealing with matters like this. This is not something that a local rep can deal with.
