how long does one have to be on a temporay job to gain the right to take the position permanant?

they dont unless it goes up on the board and he or she sign for it. depends where they are on S/List if they get it or not...

finnally got some jobs advertised in our office after two years,but they are not advertising certain ones because people have been on them over 12 months,can they do this?

As far as i know,no,if they haven't signed for it then it's not theirs.

no they cant all vacant jobs must go up on the board after 6 months.
if you have been on a duty for as long as someone we all know has been eating pies dont matter it must still go up on the board for signing just because you have been on that duty for donkeys doesnt make it yours.


temp staff that have been working for the company for 2 years or more should be offered a contrick.

Any duties that have been vacant for more than six months should be advertised internally.

But i am certain that the agreement is worded so that management can look to reduce the duty if they can show that it can be done with less hrs.

I dont have it to hand but somebody may elaborate or correct me on this??
