Funeral costs these days is outrageous, its felt that funeral companies is exploiting grief to bump up the prices.

I recently attended a funeral of a family member that cost £7,500, we all had to chip in to spread the burden.

Surely she should be covered for 2 x salary for death in service if not in any pension scheme, or lump sum from pension scheme. It is a tragic case.
