Absolutely appalled with this. I put in a grievance via the union area rep 16 months ago. I have had to chase him up umpteen times. Grievance was lost, had to redo the interview. Then that manager moved on, then it was passed onto various managers like a hot potato. I was signed off with stress as it caused so much grief. I rang hr to chase it up and they said nothing was ever put on the system. Is this whole thing corrupt or what? I was owed hours that I have worked for free and within one day of hr logging it my manager offered me half of what I am owed. I refused as the amount of stress this has caused makes me really need what I am owed plus compensation, though I know that is too much to ask. Really dont know what steps I should take now. Im moving to a different department and don't want to start on a bad note by giving them an annual leave docket with 9 weeks that I'm owed but the managers say I can only take annual leave not pay and still are only offering me half of what im owed. The union have proved themselves totally useless and I am livid that so much time has been wasted due to them not giving a s**t.
Also, if I accept annual leave from a part time department and take it to a full time role will I get the weeks or just the hours?

16 month long grievance
This is the same thing that has happened to me I put a grievance in on the 2 January 2019 which I sent special delivery. Royal mail told me it was lost even though it was signed for. I've tried to get help from the cwu but they are totally useless and just can't be arsed helping there members. I am now having to get my own legal advice.Hungry hippo wrote:Absolutely appalled with this. I put in a grievance via the union area rep 16 months ago. I have had to chase him up umpteen times. It is so corrupt. The managers are criminals imo.. As soon as I told the area rep it hasnt been put on the system he failed to reply as he probably knew he was in the wrong all along and this showed either way that he really doesnt care. Once this is sorted the union are no.longer getting any of my money. Problem is they.have my.payslips and I bet they also.get lost when I ask for them back as evidence. Let me know how your legal advice goes. Did you go via acas?gand wrote:This is the same thing that has happened to me I put a grievance in on the 2 January 2019 which I sent special delivery.
