ill health

Do Atos still exist in Royal Mail or is it the manager that deals with any potential ill health problems?

I have really bad asthma along with other health conditions and this year has been bad for my health having to take time off currently doing one of the longest deliverys in the office due to revisions. Most years Ive kept my head down just keeping myself to myself while some people come out with all sort of disabilities to get easier walks, so.. Im genuinely struggling this time and wonder who would I talk to if anyone about possibly one of the lighter duties, tho their not light just lighter than the heaviest duties as all know their is hardly any easy duties these days. Anyway any advice much appreciated

ATOS still exists although its name has changed to OH Assist.

However the process has changed, the manager cannot go direct to OH Assist he must first approach HR for their agreement/advice.
