Local agreement.

I was infirmed today,the reason our 4 weeks hols are allocated by our dom is that it was a local agreement done yrs ago.i asked is this in writing and coukd i see it.I was just fobbed off and told i should know this.My question is should this be in writing and should we b able to see agreement. Ive been there 6 yrs and never seen anything.Are all offices dictated when they myst take there leave and if they want to swap they must gi round officr trying to swap.Union rep is a waste if time in office.ta

Get in touch with area rep im sure he is the one who signs all local agreements.

Local agreements are the shitty ones they don’t want to address at national level! That’s why they are easily changed to suit both management and union!!!

If it was local agreement yes it will be in writing as cwu rep would have signed it off with Dom who should also have a copy , if they can't supply a copy there is no agreement

There is no scope within national guidelines for a local agreement that gives management the scope to pick annual leave for the staff.
