I recently applied online for a transfer closer to home as I currently travel 24 miles approx a day from my depot to home. I was wondering as I’m based inside the London catchment area which the pay structure is higher at around £12 an hour (been at this job 7months, but have worked for Royal Mail ages ago prior) and I’ve applied for a transfer which is just outside of London and at the depot I applied for which is around £11 an hour. The question is will my pay stay the same as it is or will my pay decrease to the amount that the new depot are advertising on the application page on there website. Does anybody know the answer to this or have come across this? As I’m sure a lot of us posties have had a transfer and I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere on here
