Can anyone shed some light on the SA hourly rate being less than basic rate?I am looking at my pay slip and working out my basic rate is nigh on £13.16 per hour as opposed to my SA rate working out roughly £11.71 per hour.I have never worked anywhere that this is the norm where you actually get paid less per hour than your basic. Most jobs would normally be time and a half or time and a quarter.I might be totally wrong or my maths might be but I'm sure i am right

Our basic rate is about £11.10.
Unless you are in a London office as your London weighting is included in your top line and not as a separate supplement.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

These London posties must work harder than the rest of us if they get paid more.
