Does anyone have advice on how to claim an overtime payment which was unpaid because of a failure to sign the o.t. sheet.
Could a WAM or Shift manager authorise payment if they could recall you worked? , or would you need proof from another source?
One rep said he thought if you had no proof you worked then you lost payment for that overtime. Any reps know different?

The signing of overtime is not proof that you have done it the proof is that the work was completed. The signing is merely for ordit purposes.

even if the rep is wrong, and I think he is, go and see the manager and see if they can authorise it. Nothing chanced nothing gained.

Thanks for responses. I was enquiring on behalf of a colleague who told me today the issue had been sorted after discussion with WAM.

Can’t you tell them to check PDA?
Cameras of when you lost office?
Wouldn’t it be great if we used our IDs to check in and out of work...

In this case, wouldn't work. The terminology used suggests they work in an MC, not a DO.
