Installation of new post boxes - something I have not seen in my area.

The current half mile radius which means there has to be a late pillar box withi. An half a mile will now move to a mile which will see more collections on delivery.
The electric counting machines which are inserted in pillar box’s to check which pillar boxes have less than 50 items in.
Additionally there will be a review of relief collections along with a review of the frequency of collections from POL Units and also how many times a box is needed to be collected from.
All collections units will have revisions over 4 phases.
80 units will have revisions to be introduced before 1st October 2018.
Than next April 2019 until October another 80 .
There is Area Reps meeting in Birmingham this weds on the deployment of collections revisions / shorter working week.

The phasing process of where each collection Hub / Office has a revision based on the review of postboxes , pillar box frequency , mile radius , and Pol outlet review will be released either today or tommorow.
In addition each hub will receive the estimated amount of boxes that will go to delivery along with the other impacts.

That could be interesting. Why pay for a collection when you can demand that your postie takes all your outward mail for you.
