part time to full time

I was told by my dom I would be going full time 39 hrs on February 5th.It did not happen as his boss would not sign it off.I was then told I would be given a 35 hr contract starting 12th March.This has not happened either as yet.According to the four pillars and courier mag the 35 hr full time does not start until Oct 2018.Any suggestions what I can do

The four pillars agreement contains information on increasing hours of part- timers. Pending its implementation if yes vote.
8. Resourcing in line with current agreements; lists several "commitments" to part- time workers which apply with immediate effect.

The 39 hour week is being reduced to 38 in October 2018 . I do not understand when you say "According to the four pillars and courier mag the 35 hr full time does not start until Oct 2018" .
It is probable that any new contracts in future will be max 35 hours.

The ballot has not even been done yet but if it is in the the coming years one would envisage part time being made up but for greedy management and fools only to too themselves!

full time contracts are now 35 hours, there are no more 39 hour ones available unless you transfer to another office and take your hours with you ( you will probably need to be very lucky to do so though )

There are. My mate was made up to full time this week and on his payslip today it says 39 hours

So if yes vote,all us on 35 hrs(part time contract) should be full time.Is that what section 13 last paragraph means on cwu voteing booklet means.

I'm reading it as - New FT contracts from Oct 18 will be 35 HRS. If you are 35 PT hours now you will still be classed as PT until the current FT'ers (on 39) reduce
their hours to 35 over the next few years. Then I assume you will be classed as FT. A difference over the next few years is that if you work 4 hrs O/T now
to get SSPR O/T rate to 39 hrs, then from Oct 18 I think you will only get the first 3 hrs O/T at SSPR rate (and I'm assuming less pensionable pay contributions and delivery supplement!).

That's my take on it.
