DOM has totally ignored or acknowledged my stage 1 grievance letter. Should I just give a stage 2 to the area manager?

‘Resolution with your second line or another appropriate manager’ The employee can raise a grievance to their second line manager when: • The employee is not satisfied with the resolution from their manager • The concern has not been dealt with • The concern involves their manager This can be done by: • Talking to their manager who escalates the case • Talking to their second line manager directly • Contacting HR Services on 0345 6060 603
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

Phone HR and they’ll input it into PSP. There’s 28 days for a stage 2 to be resolved. It’s a f***ing shambles to be honest designed to drag out the procedure and timeout tribunals. How he union agreed it I don’t know

If your grievance complaint is directed at your first line manager then you should have commenced at a stage2 grievance which is copied into the Employee Relations Team @ Pond street Sheffield.
They will then appoint a manager within your area who will be at a higher authority level than your first manager to hear your grievance.
It would be beneficial to you if you have witness statements to support your grievance.
If unsatisfied with the result of your stage 2 you can continue to a stage3.
